Here's how it works:

• GM's Cash for Clunkers program provides qualified customers who successfully donate their vehicle with an incentive of $500 to $3,000 depending on their choice of eligible GM vehicle
• The GM incentive can be used towards the purchase or finance of an eligible 2011 or 2012 GM vehicle
• You'll be doing your part for the environment by upgrading to a cleaner more fuel efficient vehicle

* To qualify for GMCL's Cash For Clunkers incentive, you must: turn in a 2005 or older MY vehicle that is in running condition and has been registered and properly insured in your name, or under a small business name, for the last 3 months. GMCL will provide eligible consumers with an incentive to be used towards the purchase or lease of a new eligible 2011 or 2012 MYChevrolet vehicle delivered between October 1, 2011 and January 3, 2012. Incentive amount ranges from $500 to $3,000 (tax inclusive), depending on model purchased; incentive may not be combined with certain other offers.
